The Adult Family Home must ensure the negotiated care plan is developed and completed within 30 days of the resident’s admission.
What this means for an AFH
The admission date starts the 30-day period. Homes should coordinate the assessment, care-plan development, resident participation, and completion process early enough to meet the current requirement.
